- For the Auto Self-Cleaning Function: Turn the dryer off and unplug it. Remove the rear filter and soft foam circle, clearing any debris. Press and hold both the air speed and temperature buttons for 3 seconds. The motor reverses for about 10 seconds, then stops automatically. Reattach the foam circle and filter before use
