How to use
  1. Perform a patch test 24–48 hours before colouring to check for sensitivity
  2. Pre-lighten hair to light blonde if you want the brightest, boldest red-violet result
  3. Shampoo with a clarifying shampoo, rinse thoroughly and towel-dry so hair is clean and damp
  4. Comb through and section hair into manageable parts for even application
  5. Apply barrier cream along the hairline, ears and neck to help prevent skin staining
  6. Put on the gloves provided and squeeze the gel colour directly from the tube into the application bowl
  7. Use the tint brush to apply a generous amount of gel colour to each section, fully saturating the hair from roots to ends
  8. Avoid the scalp where possible and check that all strands are evenly coated for consistent colour
  9. Leave the colour to process for around 30 minutes, or up to 40 minutes on more resistant hair
  10. Rinse with cool water until the water runs almost clear, without using shampoo
  11. Gently squeeze out excess water, then dry and style as desired
  12. Use colour-safe, sulphate-free products and cool water when washing to help the colour last 8–12 washes
  13. Repeat application when colour has faded to your preference, allowing at least a few washes between applications
