PIERCING POLICY

Hairhouse Warehouse values the health and safety of all our customers. In order to comply with legislation regarding body piercing the following points outline the policy for piercing at Hairhouse Warehouse.

  • Photo ID such as a drivers license, passport etc must be presented before ANY type of piercing can be conducted as proof of age to indicate that the person being pierced has reached the relevant ago of consent for the piercing procedure.
  • Under no circumstances will any piercing be conducted on anyone under the age of 16 years without a consent form signed by their parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must sign the consent in store witnessed by the Body Piercer.
  • Under no circumstances will any nipple piercing be conducted on anyone under the age of 18 years.
  • Under no circumstances will any genital piercing be conducted.

Exceptions to the policy: although these are the official legal guidelines set out by Hairhouse Warehouse they are advisory minimum standards only. Individual stores may impose additional restrictions based on local regulations, the ability of staff, or other reasons as they see relevant. Please check with your chosen store for any additional conditions that may apply.
